Long time no see

It’s been a long while since I’ve written to you all.

The reason has mainly been, as you might guess, lack of time! I have been focusing all my time and effort into launching and marketing my new website design business. Out of everything I have tried, or accidentally come across, this has been the gem that has sparked my interest and ambition the most! I still have a lot to learn, not just about website design but about running a business.

I haven’t forgotten about my blog though and I miss writing for Money for Mummy. I’ve therefore taken a decision that posts I make now will be shorter (maybe – I can get carried away once I actually start writing). They will also be simpler. I’m just going to write. I’m not going to worry what colour the Yoast traffic light is, how many keywords I have or what images I attach to the posts.

I know this goes against all the advice given to bloggers. The trouble is, it’s these things that stop me from writing. If I don’t write, I don’t share the little nuggets of interesting tips, tricks and opportunities that I come acrros. That’s not much help to the Mums, Dads and carers I created this blog for!

So my plan is to start writing again, keep it simple, and keep in touch! I hope you continue to enjoy my posts, even if they have a bit less flair than before.

Thank you for reading!
